FRA Motive Power and Equipment Compliance manual from 2013.

This manual gives a good idea what to look for inspection wise on both cars and locomotives. The Carriers don't always provide such detailed information to us in T&E, this manual might help you with any questions you might have as to inspections, and what exactly is required. Please note that standards DO change, so common sense is in order when it comes to "making a stand". Remember the old adage "Obey now, Grieve later"
