H&W information isn't always something we think about, yet it is important for both us as members, and our families lives. Our families don't always know where to look for the infomation, so this is a start in the quest in keeping our families informed (in addition to ourselves).
One recent resource is the online site www.yourtracktohealth.com where you can apply for the FSA/HSA and monitor benefits and changes, as well as make changes to your H&W status.

Addtionally as of 9/1/2015 The GCA is participating in an additional policy of disability insurance that is available for BLET members to participate in Via Cornerstone Assurance Group. These policies are in addition to the BLET Short Term Disability policy already in place and/or available to the BLET member.
Please note that Cornerstone policies are available to all BLET members regardless of engine service seniority where BLET STD policy is currently only available to those with engine service seniority.

Effective March 2015 the if you participate in the BLET Short Term Disability Program Part B (the one you pay for currently as part of your dues deduction every month IF you participate) You will no longer be able to have such premiums for that insurance deducted as a portion of the dues deduction every month and must have the premium "auto debited" from your banking account.

Cornerstone Assurance Group offers BLET members regardless if Train or Engine service, additional Short Term and Long Term Disability options as well as additional Life and AD&D (accidental death/dismemberment) insurance option. Enrollment is once per year except new BLET members who become BLET members between the enrollment periods have the ability to enroll sooner.
